About Me

Hello welcome to my blog!

My name is Alejandra and my pronouns are she/her.

I was born and raised in Guatemala until the age of nine. I lived in Guatemala City but my grandparents were from Quetzaltenango and Huehuetenango, which are more rural than the city. Then when I was nine, my family moved to the United States and we have lived in Concord, California ever since.

Some key details about myself are that I love reading books, being out in nature whether it’s hiking or traveling, I also like cooking and baking, swimming, going to the gym, being creative whether it’s painting or drawing and of course spending time with my family and friends.

I am a Health Science major and I plan on going into dental school after I graduate to become an Orthodontist.

To be completely honest I found out about medical sociology through searching for classes to fulfill my requirements but I chose to take this class because it seemed interesting to me and I know I will be able to learn a lot of useful information and skills for my life and profession in the future.

This coming year I’m most looking forward to learning a lot from my classes and staying on top of everything to be able to succeed. I’m excited for this new semester and everything it has to offer.

That is just a little bit about me and I hope throughout the semester I can get to connect with some of you.

Thanks so much for reading and until next time!

Alejandra
